Vertical Wheelchair Lifts
Vertical wheelchair lifts units include passenger platforms, doors or gates and low walls that surround the lift. These wheelchair lifts come in a variety of finishes and can be outfitted with a Plexiglas dome for outdoor weather protection.
Vertical wheelchair lifts can also be installed with non-load bearing ceilings, and full height cab walls. One wheelchair lift model fits inside a vertical shaft that can be completely enclosed, much like an elevator shaftway. It can also be fitted with a short, 42" high, enclosure at the upper landing. This vertical lift can be designed to match the home’s design inside or out, making it a less-expensive and more versatile option than an elevator.
